Substitute Jordan White made an immediate impact to help Barrow clinch a National League victory at Halifax.
White was introduced for Adi Yussuf in the 68th minute and, within 60 seconds, netted the game's only goal.
Bradley Bauress' cross fell kindly for him and he made no mistake to secure Barrow their sixth league win of the campaign.
The result moved the visitors up to 18th spot, and within a point of their hosts.
