Celtic score after St Johnstone almost equalise
Celtic and Rangers continue to lead the way, while Heart of Midlothian moved up to third as Hibernian also won on a weekend when Motherwell and Dundee shared six goals and Livingston v Ross County was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
There were plenty of talking points as usual, but what did the fans who responded to our call for opinions think of their team's performance?
Some Aberdeen fans want a change of manager after their 2-0 defeat away to Hibernian...
Fred: We cannot defend and we cannot score! The season is going from bad to worse. It looks like our major signings were a waste of money. I was so sure Mr Robson had turned the club round, but the strategy he deploys does not work and he cannot seem to change. Unfortunately, I think we need another change of management or we will have a horrible season.
Niall: Despite the stats from the match, the Dons have fallen in the capital once again to another two very easy goals. This Dons side will never have consistency with a leaky defence. Becoming detached at the bottom end of the Premiership is not a good look and Mr Robson needs to go, otherwise the second half of the season will be a battle for league survival.
John: Third bottom is simply not good enough for a club like Aberdeen and more pathetic excuses from Barry Robson. Mr Cormack, enough is enough, Robson must go and now!
Ally: Three clean sheets all season and we stick with the same formation and same defenders. Slobodan Rubezic costs us at least one goal every game but still plays in the next fixture. What does he have to do to be dropped, score? That seemed to work for Angus McDonald!
Steven: Individual defensive errors are making it hard to win matches. The team played quite well. However, they were poor in front of goal. Aberdeen need to win a lot of home games in December to move up the table. It is a big month for Barry Robson.
Andy: The Dons put in a decent performance on Sunday, but the defensive frailties meant they left with nothing. If the results don't turn around over the next four weeks then I honestly believe that Dave Cormack will be working with his fifth manager very early next year.
Celtic fans are unhappy despite the Premiership leaders' 3-1 win away to St Johnstone...
Benny: Dreadful, shambolic first-half display. Far too many not good enough to wear the hoops on that showing. Better second half, but big changes in attitude, performance and, most of all, personnel needed if they hope to win the league again this season. If we play like that against Rangers, we will suffer the consequences. Lessons need to be learned quickly.
Alastair: Tired, lack of invention, lack of pace and motivation. In saying that, the manager needs a better formation and tactics. Celtic need an early goal in every game because teams will naturally defend. As the game goes on, complacency creeps in, like today. Poor goal to lose, but credit to the substitutes who probably need rewarded with a start.
Martin: They are playing well in this game but really need to stop playing Yang Hyun-Jun for now. Play Mikey Johnston - he has clearly got what it takes. Delighted with the win today and I'm glad Brendan Rodgers was angry at half-time!
Peter: What is going on at the club? It looks as if Brendan Rodgers has lost the dressing room. We came on in the second half, but the first half was a disaster. This rubbish has been going on too long and needs to stop and get us back to our fluid selves.
Dundee fans think their side missed a chance to earn three points in their 3-3 draw away to Motherwell...
Albert: Typical of our club. Ach well, bring on Rangers.
Doug: A game that should have been remembered as an excellent away victory achieved through sustained classy play will instead be remembered for the sloppy last 10 seconds. Two points squandered (again).
Winning games is also winning over Heart of Midlothian fans despite the performances...
David: Hard work watching Hearts. Not a lot of football, but results are what matters. Without Lawrence Shankland, likely not in top six. Work in progress. Steven Naismith has given confidence to the team, which they have been lacking,
Mark: The shift to 5-3-2 is clearly something the players prefer after years of it under Robbie Neilson. Much more solid, fluid and dangerous going forward. Kyle Rowles looking like the World Cup star we saw in Qatar.
Ian: Three points was the most important thing with the fixtures we have coming up. But, if you want entertainment, don't watch Hearts. I still want a change in management with someone outside the club coming in with fresh ideas. 15,000 season tickets and a 7,000 waiting list will turn into 7,000 tickets and no waiting list with more of these performances.
David: It's hard to argue with four wins in a row and poor playing conditions. Big plus is a solid defence. Big minus is the "goals for" column - one of the worst in the league. Give Lawrence Shankland some help please! A real test of progress will be against Rangers on Wednesday. Three points would be great and one point the absolute minimum.
Murray: Four wins on the bounce is not to be sniffed at any level and thought it is not pretty at times. Surely winning football is all that matters.
Nick Montgomery is winning over Hibernian fans - and goalkeeper David Marshall is too after their win over Aberdeen...
Colin: Three big points. We weren't at our best, but there's different ways to win a football match. We're playing good football and our mentality is improving and we're a difficult team to beat. Nick Montgomery deserves a lot of credit and knows what we need to do to improve further.
Nick: A very solid display today. It says a lot that David Marshall won man of the match. There was some frustration from the fans that we are still not really having a dig in the final third and too much of passing it back to the keeper. Martin Boyle put in a decent and unselfish shift today. The team are beginning to gel well under Nick Montgomery.
Kenny: A good result, but we almost shot ourselves in the foot. Why do we keep trying to play football across our six-yard box? We don't have the players to do it. We gave away a silly penalty, but David Marshall made a fine save. Lots of good things, but these mistakes are being made week in, week out. Come on Nick Montgomery, get it sorted! Good result though and well done.
John: Much improved team performance from Hibs, playing better every week and defending well. Aberdeen had chances, but like us in the semi final couldn't finish them off.
Aldo: A crucial result, given that it moves us further away from Aberdeen and keeps Hearts and St Mirren in our sights. It was a weird reversal of the recent cup semi, where we were the better side and lost. Grateful to David Marshall, who was magnificent. And it was wonderful to see Dylan Vente score again - he's been great for us, but he needed a goal.
Allan: Wasn't one of our better performances, but a new quality and mentality seems to be creeping in to this Hibs side under Nick Montgomery that allows us to grind out results. We've played better and come away with nothing, so a great three points. Although David Marshall (rightly so), got man of the match, shout out to Martin Boyle, who appears back to his quality ways after injury.
Kilmarnock fans aren't happy with their side's performance against Hearts...
Ashley: Derek McInnes needs to invest in a proven striker in January. Plenty of physical strength and creative play in the middle of the park and were the better side for large periods but simply cannot score goals. To lose at home to a team who had their first shot on target in the 88th minute is a poor result despite Hearts' current good form.
Paul: Not sure what game Derek McInnes was watching. We were terrible and didn't deserve any points with that performance. You could see many of the team's heads weren't in it. Quite a few of the players squabbling in the first half, which is unusual to see. Darius Vassell didn't look 100%. Today just felt all wrong. It was very odd.
Anon: Same story from last season not being able to take advantage when teams are there for the taking. Without doubt, Derek McInnes is the man, especially when you look back to where we have been in the past. Overall, the league is poor throughout, from quality on the pitch to officials - VAR, don't get me started.
Motherwell fans are also an unhappy bunch despite their side grabbing a late point at home to Dundee...
Andrew: Disgraceful. Why the manager wasn't removed at the last international break beggars belief. Obviously there are financial circumstances but have to consider the ramifications in relegation. Sliding into the abyss.
Anon: It's not about character, resilience and determination. It's about tactics, organisation and consistency. How can we show discipline and defensive nous against Celtic and then open the gates to Dundee? We don't keep it tight and we don't play players in their best positions, so focus and attention to movement are sometimes missing defensively.
Rangers fans still see their team as a work in progress under Philippe Clement despite another victory, this time at home to St Mirren...
Stewart: You can see the system and shape taking place. I think the manger knows who he can trust with the changes today. As he said, Rome wasn't built in a day. I think, let him get a few of his own players in and it'll take shape nicely for the second half of the season.
Dougie: Comfortable performance. Seems every game only half the players turn up. The rest are virtually invisible. This especially goes for Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers.
Elaine: A slightly better performance against a poor team who played for damage limitation. We'll have to go through the gears before the cup final though. Good to see Todd Cantwell in his proper position and a great two assists. And well done young Ross McCausland.
Torquil: Better than last two games, but still not at level before international break. We need more urgency in possession. Early days, but Ross McCausland is exciting. Needs coached fully and he will be a massive player for us.
Scott: Still not good enough. We should be playing better football.
Steve: Small improvements seen. Happy that Todd Cantwell got a chance in his preferred position. John Lundstrum positive once more, Abdallah Sima back in the goals. Jack Butland solid as ever. Feel this team need a goalscorer as too many chances being missed. Expect Danilo to take over against Hearts. Hope Cantwell remains central. Looking for more improvement at tough venue.
Ronnie: Philippe Clement remains unbeaten and that is the most important statistic. However, in recent weeks, we are looking more like a Michael Beale team. Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers our worst signings ever and Danilo flattered to deceive. He is not going to deliver the goals we need. Young Ross McCausland our star man, but that is no cause for celebration. We need all round improvement.
St Johnstone's failure to hold on to their lead against Celtic is lamented...
Jason: Good first half from the team, but second half could have been better that that. We need to start bringing Stevie May on a bit earlier and stop leaving him for the last 15 minutes. But, other than that, not happy with the score.
And a St Mirren fans agrees with his manager that forthcoming fixtures give hope of a return to winning ways...
William: I would certainly agree with Stephen Robinson that the games coming up are very winnable and hope our players surely see that too. A better performance at Ibrox than Dingwall gives us confidence to approach New Year hopefully back in third place and stay there. Wouldn't that be just great.
