Luton and Barnsley have been fined £13,500 by the Football Association (FA) after a "mass confrontation" during the October League One fixture between the sides.

Jack Wilshere's Luton won 2-1 at Kenilworth Road, but a melee broke out at full-time after Barnsley's Amani Richards thought he had won a penalty only to be booked for simulation.

In a statement,, external the FA said both sides "failed to ensure that their players and/or technical area staff did not behave in a way which was improper and/or provocative after the full-time whistle."

Luton and Barnsley admitted the charges, and an independent commission ruled on imposing fines on both clubs.
