The Belfast Giants achieved their first win of the season in Edinburgh
Belfast Giants secured their first win of the season thanks to a 5-3 victory over Edinburgh Capitals in the Challenge Cup on Saturday.
The Giants were aiming to bounce back from Friday's 3-0 defeat by Dundee Stars and Jonathan Boxill put the visitors ahead after six minutes.
Mike Forney's double and a Colin Shields goal made it 4-0.
Ryan Hayes pulled one back but Jeff Mason added a fifth Giants goal before Hayes and Taylor Dickins netted.
