Michael Ruben Rinaldi won his third race of the season
Toprak Razgatlioglu reclaimed the lead in the World Superbike Championship by finishing second in the second feature race in Barcelona.
Yamaha rider Razgatlioglu was behind Michael Ruben Rinaldi, while Northern Ireland's Jonathan Rea was sixth.
Six-time champion Rea now trails the Turkish rider by one point, with Scott Redding 59 further back.
The race was restarted after a red flag when Tom Sykes crashed at the start of the second lap.
Just like in the earlier Superpole race, which was stopped and restarted following a crash for Chaz Davies, the second feature race was halted after a heavy accident for BMW rider Sykes at the start of the second lap.
World Superbikes says the 2013 champion is conscious but sustained a head injury in the crash and has been taken to Catalunya hospital for further assessment.
When the race restarted, Razgatlioglu led Rinaldi and Rea - who won the Superpole race earlier on Sunday - before the Italian used the power of his Ducati to move past the Yamaha at the first corner.
Unlike the frantic five-lap Superpole sprint race, the first half of the 19-lap race was a relatively calm affair by comparison as the top five held position, with Alvaro Bautista heading Redding's Ducati behind the leading trio.
Rinaldi and Razgatlioglu broke away from Kawasaki rider Rea, who was soon swamped and lost three positions in the space of a lap as Andrea Locatelli, Redding and Bautista powered past.
Further round the circuit, Razgatlioglu got the jump on Rinaldi the take the lead and compound Rea's difficult lap.
However, Rinaldi hit back with five laps to to go and take a lead he would never relinquish, and Razgatlioglu's attentions soon turned to a charging Redding, who came up just short in the battle for second.
Honda rider Bautista just missed out on his second podium of the day as he finished fourth, with Locatelli and Rea rounding out the top six.
It was a bruising day for several of the top riders in the series with Sykes' accident coming after Ducati's Davies crashed heavily in the Superpole race.
He was taken away on a stretcher and was transferred to Catalyuna Hospital with a lumbar contusion after initial checks at the circuit's medical centre.
Rea's Kawasaki team-mate Alex Lowes failed to take the restart of the second feature race after being involved in a separate crash before the red flag.
World Superbike officials say the English rider has suffered a left wrist contusion.
