Wakefield have signed New Zealand-born Samoa hooker Michael Sio from Mackay Cutters on an 18-month contract.
Sio, 22, joined Melbourne Cup side Mackay earlier this season, having previously had spells with Marist Saints and New Zealand Warriors.
"To be given the opportunity to join Wakefield and play under Brian Smith, there was never any doubt as to if I would go," he told the club's website., external
