Grant Gore: Ex-Widnes half-back signs permanent Whitehaven deal

Whitehaven have made playmaker Grant Gore a permanent signing following his release by Widnes at the end of the 2015 campaign.

The 23-year-old joined Haven on a loan basis from the Super League side last season, finishing with seven tries in 23 games for James Coyle's side.

"He has a good kicking game and a strong defence," said Haven director of rugby James Robinson.

Gore made 23 appearances for the Vikings, including 16 in Super League.
