Joe Trayfoot: London Irish sign Harlequins forward

Premiership side London Irish have signed back-row forward Joe Trayfoot from Harlequins.

The 23-year-old came through the Quins academy and has represented England up to Under-18 level.

Trayfoot, who helped his side to the 2013 LV= Cup, can feature across the back-row but prefers blindside flanker.

"He is a top quality player with a great work rate who we feel can add real strength to our back row," said Irish operations director Bob Casey.

"He is an ambitious young player who wants to be part of our future."
