Phil Davies spent 13 years as a player with Llanelli
Swansea RFC have appointed former Scarlets and Cardiff Blues head coach Phil Davies as technical advisor.
Davies won 46 caps for Wales and will join later in November to help develop the club's young coaches and players.
The 53-year-old has also coached Leeds Tykes, Wales Under-20s and is currently Namibia head coach.
"Phil joins the club with a wealth of experience that will benefit our young coaching team.," Swansea managing director Keith Colclough said.
Swansea are currently bottom of the Principality Premiership, having won only once in eight games this season.
