Wales back Alex Cuthbert needs to go back to Cardiff Blues and start "enjoying his rugby again" according to legendary wing JJ Williams.
Cuthbert has scored 15 tries in 44 Tests, but has not crossed the whitewash for Wales since August 2015.
The 26-year-old showed his frustration when fumbling two scoring chances in the 33-30 defeat of Japan.
"He needs to go back to Cardiff, score a few tries and enjoy his rugby a bit more," Williams told BBC Wales Sport.
"He's his own worst enemy isn't he?
"Every time he makes a mistake his head is down, he's throwing tantrums, banging the floor."
Williams was part of Wales teams that won Five Nations Grand Slams in 1976 and 1978 and scored four tries as the British and Irish Lions beat South Africa 3-0 in the Test series of 1974.
He believes Cuthbert - a Lions tourist himself in 2013 - is unlikely to figure in the final autumn Test match against the Springboks in Cardiff on Saturday, but still has something to offer Wales.
"He won't be in the team this weekend, I can't see it, but he needs to go back to Cardiff and not do the same things. Just get on with it," added Williams.
"He is a very good player. He's a British Lions Test try scorer so he's got it, but we're not seeing it from him."
