Jersey's loss ended a two-game winning streak in the league

Jersey Reds coach Neil Tunnah says his side were second best as they lost 20-10 at home to Yorkshire Carnegie.

Jersey led 7-5 at half-time thanks to Josh Hodson's try, but two second-half scores from former Jersey prop Marc Thomas and Louis Brown sealed the win.

"It was a disappointing and frustrating afternoon," Tunnah told BBC Radio Jersey after the defeat.

"We had a fair number of individual errors and we didn't control the field in the way we needed to."

Jersey stay 10th in the Championship, but 11th-placed London Scottish have now drawn level with the islanders.
