Mark Allen continued his title defence with a 6-1 win over Mark Davis in the second round of the International Championship in China.

The Northern Irishman, who beat Neil Robertson in last year's final, had a highest break of 101 and will play England's Ali Carter in the last 16.

World champion Judd Trump compiled four half-century breaks in a 6-4 victory against Scott Donaldson.

Shaun Murphy, Graeme Dott and Mark Selby also won their matches.

Murphy beat Yang Bingtao 6-4, Dott thrashed Michael White 6-1 and Selby defeated Ben Woollaston 6-3.

Australia's Robertson maintained his hopes of going one better than last year by beating England's Ricky Walden 6-5.
