Justice for Oxford grooming victims says police chief

Five members of a paedophile ring in Oxford who groomed, raped and trafficked young girls have been given life sentences.

Speaking outside court, Simon Morton from Thames Valley Police welcomed the verdict and encouraged other victims to come forward.

"If you have suffered in the same way that our girls have suffered, please come forward and tell your story, we can help", he said.

Mr Morton also warned anyone else committing such crimes to "think again" and to be under no doubt that they will face prosecution.
