Lexi Branson attack: Mother stabbed dog to try to save girl

A dog that killed a four-year-old girl was stabbed to death by the child's mother as she tried to save her daughter, police say.

The bulldog attacked Lexi Branson in the lounge of a flat in Mountsorrel, near Loughborough, on Tuesday.
