Labour 'will unite again', says MP
A Labour MP who abstained in Monday night's vote on the government's Welfare Bill has said people will "respect" politicians who stand up for what they believe.
Stephen Kinnock followed the party line in abstaining, but 48 of his colleagues voted against ministers' plans to cut £12bn from the welfare budget.
Mr Kinnock says those who rebelled simply represent a new kind of politics.
