Disused Mill Hotel in Alveley gutted by fire

The cause of a fire which has destroyed much of a Shropshire hotel is being investigated by police.

The blaze has gutted the disused Mill Hotel in Alveley and caused some of the building and its roof to collapse.

The fire broke out during the early hours of Monday with firefighters still at the scene, dampening down and checking for hot spots, on Wednesday.
