Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman took to the dance floor on the US version of the show (on which he also judges, the busy man!) with contestant Nastia Liukin and dancer Derek Hough for a Viennese waltz last night.

As part of the show's semi-finals, Goodman outlined why he wanted to join former gymnast Liukin for the final moments of their routine.

"I'm old now but I look back and I've got arthritis in my knee, I can't dance," he said.

"For everyone, there comes a time when you can no longer do something. But you always think back to how it was and what it was like.

"Sometimes I get that feeling and think 'Gee I wish I could still dance like that' and that's what I want this to be."

  13. Marsan hits out at cockney clichespublished at 13:15 BST 12 May 2015

    Radio Times

    Eddie MarsanImage source, PA

Actor Eddie Marsan has complained about the "cliche" of dramas depicting cockneys "on coke".

Marsan, who is set to star in the BBC's magician drama Jonathan Strange And Mr Norrell, said screenwriters, commissioners and directors all come from "a small circle of society".

"Art is the job of the privileged. You can't write a screenplay if you've been doing a zero-hours contract," he added.

"You're not going to have something set on a council estate that explores all elements of human existence, the variety of experience inherent in any community.

"What you'll have is some geezer on coke with a double-barrelled shotgun. And I always say, 'I'm not doing that. You write me something that I know is true'.

Marsan, whose film roles include War Horse, Gangs of New York, Vera Drake and Happy-Go-Lucky, grew up in London's East End.
