The West Mercia Safer roads partnership has been explaining why a Ketley man got a speeding ticket for a parked car.
It told us the equipment is "rigorously tested and calibrated" but because of a "human error" the wrong vehicle registration was processed when a motorcycle sped past Dave Copeland's car.
It says "errors like this are extremely rare" and are corrected as soon as they are brought to its attention.

A Ketley man has been telling us about his shock at getting a £100 speeding fine, when he knew his car had been parked outside a takeaway at the time.
Dave Copeland checked the time and date of the ticket and demanded an investigation.
It turned out the speed camera had snapped a passing motorcyclist, but only picked up his number plate. The speeding ticket has now been cancelled.

The MP for North Shropshire, Owen Paterson, has told us David Cameron should have gone further in demanding changes in Britain's relationship with Europe.
Earlier, the prime minister set out thechanges he wanted to see, ahead of a British referendum on EU membership.
Mr Cameron said "ever closer union" is not something the country wants.
Quote MessageIt is such a shame not to use this moment to go for something which I think the vast majority of people would accept, which is a wholly new relationship.

Solicitors representing a man who was born in Shropshire with severe brain damage in the 1960s say the gap between the injuries and the eventual payout could be the longest ever recorded.
The man, who cannot be identified, suffered a traumatic injury during his delivery, which left him with cerebral palsy.
The age of the case caused difficulties for lawyers on both sides, because all the clinicians involved have long since died and medical notes were hard to find.

Shrewsbury is getting a new Christmas market this year, on 12 and 13 December.
It will be based around a giant marquee in the Quarry and the organisers are promising an ice rink, Chrismas carols, craft and cookery workshops, donkeys and lambs and more than 150 stalls.
The event will raise money for the Shrewsbury Ark homeless charity.
