The head teacher at Holmer Lake Primary School in Telford has apologised for sending parents a letter encouraging them to sign up for after-schools clubs in a bid to prevent their children being "groomed" or becoming involved in "extremism".
It said the club would encourage a sense of belonging, which would in turn help combat child sexual exploitation, radicalisation and other forms of crime.

Twenty five people have been treated using Electro-Convulsive Therapy this year, 15 of which were women. In fact over the last few years the number of women having the treatment has been considerably higher than men.

The cause of a fire at Telford's Southwater car park at the weekend is still unknown.
Fire chiefs say an investigation is under way.
Thick black smoke could be seen pouring from the multi-storey car park at about 12:30 on Saturday. Three cars were alight.
Telford and Wrekin Council says the car park is open but at reduced capacity - 150 spaces available out of about 600 - as repair work is still ongoing.
