Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a 33-year-old man who was stabbed 102 times.

James Attfield was found near Castle Park in Colchester early on 29 March.

Essex Police have not revealed what charge was being used to hold the 27-year-old who has not been named.

Det Ch Insp Simon Werrett said although two people seen in CCTV images had come forward, the force still needed to speak to a further 21 people who have not contacted detectives.
