Strictly Come Dancing 2023: Who is the latest celeb to leave Strictly?

Nikita Kanda has become the second celebrity to be eliminated from this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The radio presenter faced the dreaded dance-off against reality TV star Zara McDermott after they both ended up in the bottom two.

Both couples performed their routines again with Nikita and her dance partner Gorka performing their Jive to Kids In America from Clueless, and Zara and her dance partner Graziano performing their Paso Doble to The Puss Suite from Puss In Boots.

When it came down the the judges decision, they all chose to save Zara, but said that "both couples gave it their best."

The results show opened the professional dancers taking us on a pink-tastic visit to Barbie Land to celebrate Movie Week.

American singer Madison Beer also performed her song Showed Me (How I fell In Love With You) in the ballroom.

When it came to the dance-off, Nikita and Zara danced a second time and the judges delivered their verdicts.

Anton said he thought "both couples danced better in the dance off" but that "unfortunately there were a couple of small mistakes" from Nikita and Gorka.

Motsi agreed that the pair "made a few mistakes that were quite visible."

The judges then all voted to save Zara and Graziano, meaning that Nikita became the second contestant to leave Strictly Come Dancing this year.

Speaking about her time on the show Nikita said: "I've had the best time and I love all my Strictly family, I'm going to miss you all."

And Gorka was full of praise for his dancing partner too,

He said: "I am beyond proud of her, for someone that doesn't have any dance experience or performance experience to come on this show and dance in front of millions of people - for three weeks, I think it's incredible.

"You should be very proud of yourself, you have never let me down and I am very proud of you."
