Bonfire night is almost here!

Also known as Fireworks Night or Guy Fawkes Night, Bonfire Night takes place on 5 November.

It dates back to 1605 and marks the anniversary of the Gunpowder plot when Guy (Guido) Fawkes tried to blowup the Houses of Parliament.

Nowadays Bonfire Night usually involves firework displays, sparklers and toffee apples.
