Jake Jarman has become the first British male gymnast to win two individual medals at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in the Netherlands.

The 24-year-old won silver in the men's floor event on Saturday and then another silver in the vault final on Sunday.

"I'm just really happy," Jake said afterwards.

"The aim is to land on my feet. I know that sounds simple but it really isn't."

British teenager Abigail Martin also narrowly missed out on bronze in the women's floor final, coming fourth.

Jake is originally from Peterborough in England. He has a British dad and a Filipino mum.

He started learning gymnastics at 6 years old.

Eighteen years later, with two silvers in the bag, Jake now has five medals from all his Artistic Gymnastic World Championship events.

He is also an Olympic bronze medallist - coming third in the Men's Floor exercise in Paris in 2024.

Like other famous gymnasts including Olympic-medallist Simone Biles, Jake has a move named after him called Jarman!
