Michael Hoey upbeat for Northern Ireland Open bid

Tournament ambassador Michael Hoey is confident of improving on his poor record in the Northern Ireland Open at Galgorm Castle.

The five-times European Tour winner has failed to make the cut in the last two years in the Co Antrim event.

Hoey warmed up for the tournament by making the quarter-finals at the Paul Lawrie Match Play last week.
