McCay 'excited' as Dancer era starts for Irish women

Ireland defender Shirley McCay is looking forward to working with Sean Dancer after the Australian is named as the new women's coach.

McCay, who is Ireland 's most capped player, was part of the squad which finished second at the 2018 World Cup.

Dancer comes in after Graham Shaw left the post in March to take charge of the New Zealand women's team.
