Watch: Larne beat Bannsiders to close gap at the top

Larne move to within two points of league leaders Linfield with a 2-0 home win over Coleraine at a wet Inver Park.

Midfielder Joe Thomson headed the hosts in front after just 12 minutes, getting on the end of an inviting Sean Graham cross from the left after a bright start from the visitors.

The points were secured in the 89th minute, again from a header, as Leroy Millar met Levi Ives corner to direct his effort past a helpless Gareth Deane.

Second half substitute Lee Bonis was denied by a superb stop from the Coleraine 'keeper while he also headed wide.

The Bannsiders created few chances, though Larne captain Cian Bolger was forced to clear Jamie Glackin's effort off the line in the first half.
