@djjeavons Do you think changing the back room staff goes a long way to explaining the difficulties facing Moyes?

Phil: Moyes can hardly be blamed for this but in my opinion I do think he would have been better keeping one of Sir Alex Ferguson's team with him, one of Mike Phelan or Rene Meulensteen (I would have kept Phelan) who had been in the inner sanctum alongside his predecessor for all those previous years, had an intimate knowledge of the club and, if you like, knew where the stepping stones were."

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport's chief football writer answers your Manchester United questions

@mark_dakers How can Moyes expect to win games and keep fans on side when our team is ageing and he won't buy?

Phil: Maybe David Moyes himself is also adjusting to the different financial environment at Old Trafford, where any player could be within reach after years of carefully working the markets at Everton.

It has been suggested he is aware United's squad is a rather odd mix of young and old players with not too many in the category in between and that is what he will be working to change - although I agree about needing to tackle the problem of ageing players.

As for not buying Mark...he will have to. He has no other choice.
