Have a good weekend.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is not back training with the first team yet and is out for the West Ham game but Joel Matip and Sadio Mane are available.

Asked when will Sturridge be back, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said: "No real idea. I have no idea when he is back.

"He's not happy but that is the life of a footballer. You cannot force these things. It's not important the name and quality of the player, as the manager you have to wait until they are back. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit longer because of the past.

"It's not perfect our situation with Phi (Coutinho) and Danny.

"I can't make pressure by making timelines. They will be back as quick as possible."

Gaston Ramirez had an unremarkable spell with Sunday's opponents Southampton, but is now a key player at Middlesbrough, scoring the winner against Hull on Monday. Boro boss Aitor Karanka is impressed with his form:

"Gaston has done an amazing job since he came here," said Karanka. "His goal is a reflection of how hard our team is working. I always want to have a dilemma over my team. Fabio has shown that players will always have a chance.

"Nobody in this team is untouchable. Every player knows there is someone fighting to take his place. We have three games in a week, but we don't have to think about resting and rotating. I will pick the best team for each game."

"Three points in this league are always massive," said Karanka. "But the performance against Hull, especially for the first 70 minutes, was very good.

"Our team ran more than any other in the Premier League on Monday, and that shows our commitment. After our games against top teams we showed how well we can play with the ball as well.

"We have exactly the same goals for and against as Southampton - we have to go there believing we can win."

Southampton boss Claude Puel says he has no issue with Jose Fonte, who was rested last night as they went out of the Europa League. Fonte has been the subject of transfer rumours after turning down a contract extension offer.

"Jose is a good player, like the other players he needs some games to recover," says Puel. "He's 33, it's important to keep him fresh. It's a collective, there is no problem."

"We learned with all these games, eight games under pressure and at a good level. Inter Milan finished in fourth, which shows the level of the group. We were unlucky with the result yesterday. It's important now to focus on the Premier League."

And let's hear from the manager of the month.

Chelsea might be top of the Premier League and have looked impressive so far this season but manager Antonio Conte is not getting carried away before Sunday's match against West Brom.

"It's difficult to accept (that we are title favourites), but it's normal if you're playing good football and winning a lot of games," said Conte. "It's important to continue, that from this win we don't lose our hunger.

"This league has taught me that every game is very tough. If you don't face every game with great concentration and preparation you can find yourself in trouble."
