    Pressure on Linfield

That's it for now - and what an important night it was in the race for the Irish Premiership title. Crusaders, going for a third championship in a row, are in the driving seat with a commanding seven-point lead over second-placed Linfield.

David Healy's Blues now face a huge Irish Cup match away to Belfast rivals Glentoran on Saturday. Given tonight's league setback, defeat for Linfield would appear to be unthinkable, but Glentoran go into the match on the back of a 5-0 drubbing of Portadown.

It will be a massive match at the Oval and we will have coverage of the fifth round matches here on the BBC Sport website.

    Thanks for following.

We were sensational in the second half. But at 2-0 we didn't panic as I felt we would get the chances when we got the fluency into our game. I knew it would be tough here - we have played Ards three times now this season and every one has been difficult.

I thought we deserved the 2-0 lead but in the second half we could not cope with what Crusaders threw at us and conceded some sloppy goals. We started very well, looked dangerous and caused Crusaders problems.

I asked the players for a response after Saturday's match against Dungannon. I know we came away with a point, but having been 2-0 up it felt like a defeat. We went 2-0 up again tonight but really kicked on in the second half. It was a competent and complete performance.

    Linfield 0-1 Coleraine

A disappointing night for 10-man Linfield as they lose at home and fall seven points behind leaders Crusaders.

The Blues fans express their vocal disapproval as referee Raymond Crangle makes his way off the pitch. The red card was a big moment but guilty party Jimmy Callacher did not protest too much about his 33rd-minute dismissal.

It's a real sucker punch for Linfield who had beaten Crusaders on Saturday to reduce the gap at the top to four points.
