But, for now, it's goodbye.

Arsenal's Nicolas Pepe is expected to be back in contention against Leicester after he missed the win over Wolves because his wife was giving birth.

Calum Chambers, Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari and Gabriel Martinelli remain out.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers says there are "big doubts" over whether Ben Chilwell and James Maddison will be fit enough to feature.

Ayoze Perez was forced off against Crystal Palace with an ankle knock but should be available.

Watford head coach Nigel Pearson does not have any fresh injury concerns for tonight's home game against bottom side Norwich.

He remains without long-term injury victims Gerard Deulofeu, Daryl Janmaat and Isaac Success.

Norwich have been dealt a blow after Todd Cantwell was ruled out with a hamstring injury, while Alex Tettey and Kenny McLean are both rated doubtful.

The Canaries are already without Christoph Zimmermann, Sam Byram, Grant Hanley and Moritz Leitner due to injury.

A statue of Dixie Dean, Everton's greatest goalscorer, was damaged after a flare was set alight and left on it.

Images on social media show the flare tucked under the arm of the statue outside Goodison Park with smoke pouring from it.

Merseyside Police is investigating the blaze, described as "disappointing and disrespectful" by the club.

Everton said it has not caused any permanent damage to the memorial or floral tributes laid at the foot of it.

Manchester United

Republic of Ireland Under-19 international Harvey Neville has signed his first professional contract with Manchester United.

The defender, 18, is the son of former United and Everton defender Phil, and moved to United's youth set-up from Valencia in 2018 having previously spent time at Manchester City.

Born in England, Neville qualifies for the Republic through his mother Julie's family and made his U19 international debut in a defeat by Denmark in October.

There's mixed news on the injury front for Ralph Hasenhuttl as he prepares his Southampton side for Thursday's trip to Everton.

Winger Moussa Djenepo, who only returned to the squad for Sunday's win over Manchester City after a completing a three-match ban, has been ruled out with a calf strain.

Yan Valery is also out with a muscle problem while Jannik Vestergaard and Sofiane Boufal are sidelined with thigh injuries.

There was more positive news regarding Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who could return after missing their last two matches with an ankle injury.

Southampton

If you were one of the 5.7 million people who tuned in to BBC One on Sunday evening, you will have witnessed a gutsy rearguard effort from Southampton, who repelled wave after wave of Manchester City attacks to secure a memorable 1-0 victory.

The Saints don't have much time to bask in the glory of that win, though, with a trip to Everton lying in wait on Thursday.

"When you win three points, the recovery is always easier," said Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.

"We ran 8km more than Man City on Sunday, but we'll be ready to go again on Thursday.

"We have targets to focus on. We have never won three games in a row, so that's the first.

"Also, we now have the chance to climb the table and to finish in the middle third."

Wolves

Pedro Neto is a doubt for Wolves after receiving a kick during Saturday's 2-0 home defeat by Arsenal but Daniel Podence should be available.

The forward has been self-isolating after flying to Portugal last week for personal reasons but Wolves have received special dispensation for him to play against Chris Wilder's Sheffield United.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo said: "When we played them [the Blades] I started looking at their process. They played the same players in League One and then he goes to the Championship and the Premier League with the same core. He [Wilder] is the real magician."

Wolves

Mexico coach Gerardo Martino has said that Wolves striker Raul Jimenez should join Manchester United in the future.

The ex-Barcelona coach believes Jimenez, who has scored 24 times in all competitions this season, would be better off moving to OldTrafford than to Italy with Juventus., external

And Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has responded, saying: "It's not an issue for us, we have a competition and a game to play. We have a lot of things in front of us.

"It's not the moment to think about anything else. I'm sure Raul is totally, 100% focused on what he has to do at Wolves.

"They are things which you can't control, it's up to you to decide if you pay attention or not. I admire Tata [Martino], he is a big manager, and honestly, it doesn't distract us."

Burnley

Let's hear a bit more from Burnley boss Sean Dyche, whose injury problems have mounted with the news that Ben Mee and Jack Cork are likely to miss the rest of the season.

The Clarets have responded to adversity, though, collecting seven points from their four games since the restart to rise to 10th.

“People know we are stretched. But the players have been superb, I think, in their attitude towards getting on with it," said Dyche.

“Sometimes when groups lose good players it can affect their feeling towards the challenge in front of them.

“But I don’t think that’s been the case. The players have worked really hard in the last few games to get something from them. I’m really pleased with how they’re going about it.”

West Ham United

West Ham have no fresh injury concerns for Wednesday's game against Burnley.

Winger Felipe Anderson has only just resumed jogging after a hamstring strain and is not expected to return for at least another week.

West Ham United

Though their relegation fears have eased over the past week, West Ham boss David Moyes is not getting complacent.

When asked whether he had begun thinking about next season, Moyes replied: "No, it's not even crossed my mind. We need to pick up wins and collect points.

"I couldn't even tell you when next season starts or if the players will get any time off. It's all-consuming to make sure you win as many games as you possibly can."

West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes is not happy with the Premier League for its scheduling of his side's matches.

Though all sides have had to deal with fixture congestion in the race to complete the season, Moyes feels having to play Chelsea, Newcastle and Burnley in the space of a week has placed an unfair burden on his players.

"The players need recovery time. For us to be put in a period of three games in six days, which arguably are three of our most important games, is not correct," said the Hammers boss.

"I don't agree with the Premier League and how they've done that. The players realise what they have to do to get back ready again and are recovering quicker, and we've had to do that. The players have been great and really looked after themselves.

"After they came back from lockdown they were in good condition and we've trained hard for the games. We only have three weeks left and we need to keep fit and in shape."

Mark Lawrenson
BBC Football Expert

Burnley have been hit hard by more injuries, with defender Ben Mee (thigh) and midfielder Jack Cork (ankle) potentially out for the rest of the season.

The Clarets have not got much depth to their squad right now, for various reasons, and I think West Ham will move a little closer to safety with a win here.

I always thought the Hammers' players were too good to be where they are in the table. It looks like they have managed to find the right formula at the right time.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0. DJ Joel Corry's prediction: 2-2.

West Ham United

It has been a good few days for West Ham. David Moyes' side followed up their victory over Chelsea with a draw at Newcastle on Sunday to move four points clear of the bottom three.

"We're pleased with how this week's gone. We'd have taken four points from the games we've had," said Moyes.

"We're into a new week now and there are games coming up very, very quickly. It's Burnley tomorrow night and we'll do everything we can to keep the momentum going.

"The players have shown great spirit and are in good fettle, so long may that continue."

Liverpool

On drinks breaks, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said earlier: "It is a very good idea. The guys on the Tour de France use drinks when needed, not just when it is sunny.

"I like it from a sport fan's point of view, it's good. I don't think it will be like this after, for next season, but maybe it will be.

"It's really good. It's for the players not the coaches. I have 10 seconds to speak to them so it is not coaching."

Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes that drinks breaks should not continue into next season.

He said: "I think we did it because of the lack of preparation for all of the teams - just three weeks before the start - and maybe for the weather conditions. The managers use it to talk to players of course."

West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes says the Premier League should not have allowed the introduction of drinks breaks for the restart.

The drinks breaks and use of five substitutes were among a number of measures introduced to ease the strain on players, who are expected to play a clutch of matches in a short space of time following a three-month break. It also takes into account the fact they are playing in the (usually) warmer summer months.

"I don't think it should have been introduced. It should have been at the referee's discretion," said Moyes.

"We have plenty of stoppages for injuries. I don't think it's a necessity and it's a change of rules, and I don't think we should be finishing the season in a different way to how we started it."
