    FT: Wales 24-19 Scotland

    Wales head coach Bryan Easson:

"I am extremely proud of them. Everybody put their hands up and played well.

"We put Wales under pressure. There was a period for about 25 minutes in the second half where momentum changed. We probably didn't keep the ball long enough.

"But we came back into it and in the last five minutes, it could have gone either way.

"We can take a lot from that game. We will move on to next week.

"I thought we played well last week. I thought we showed progress and I thought we showed progress again today."

  3. 'We are really disappointed' - Malcolmpublished at 19:08 BST 2 April 2022

    FT : Wales 24-19 Scotland

    Scotland captain Rachel Malcolm:

"We are really disappointed. We fought for large parts of the game and I am proud of parts of that performance.

"I talked last week about having opportunities we didn't take and we have done it again today.

"Wales really made the most of their opportunities. They put us under pressure at set-piece.

"We had a tough talk with ourselves as a team in the centre [of the pitch] there. It's not a feeling we want again.

"We have an opportunity against France, one of the form teams in the world, to try to right those wrongs.

"We need to take our chances. We need to be more clinical."

    Wales head coach Ioan Cunningham:

"Credit to Scotland, they threw everything at us in the first half. They really tested us.

"But fair play to the girls again, they showed grit, fight to stay in it, and to come away with a win was really good.

"The girls on the bench came on and made an impact.

"Scotland are a tough side. They are only going to get better by the time we meet in the World Cup."

  5. 'Hopefully the crowd are happy' - Lewispublished at 18:55 BST 2 April 2022

    FT: Wales 24-19 Scotland

    Wales try-scorer Ffion Lewis:

"I can't take all the credit. It was the hard work from the forwards - Alisha Butcher put me in space and I am just glad to get over the whitewash for the girls.

"It's credit to the girls for working so hard.

"Dublin was amazing, but the roar here - that's what gets us going.

"It is not a performance we can be completely proud of - we didn't switch on in that first half - but we have still come away with a win. Hopefully the crowd will be happy."

"It's a great occasion, we knew so many tickets had been sold. It's our first home game of the campaign and we wanted to show what we can do.

"In the second half again we stepped up it. We showed our tenacity and our work-rate paid dividends.

"We were a bit slow out of the starting blocks, but as soon as the crowd got going, we got going.

"We didn't underestimate Scotland at all. They gave us a really good game.

"We'll keep our feet on the ground because we have got one of the hardest battles next week against England."

Wales hold on to complete a dramatic comeback win in Cardiff!

The Scottish forwards got the visitors to within a metre, but Wales defended resolutely.

The ball eventually pops out of the ruck and is dived on by Welsh bodies before being kicked out of play.

It was a game of two halves, Scotland dominating the first before the Welsh rallied after the break.

And while it was far from a perfect performance from either side, it was a great spectacle from start to finish in what was another highly competitive Women's Six Nations match.
