  2. Brannagan and Stokes pulled apartpublished at 20:25 GMT

    Oxford 0-0 Reading

    Dan George
BBC Sport at the Kassam Stadium

It all threatens to kick off at the Kassam in League One as Reading's Josh Stokes makes a late challenge on Cameron Brannagan and the Oxford man is fuming.

The two have to be pulled apart and receive a warning from referee Darren Drysdale while both sets of fans are on their feet roaring at the confrontation.

Both escape any punishment and we play on. We're yet to see a significant scoring chance in this one for either side, with the battle taking place mostly in the middle of the park.

    Bristol City 0-0 Wolves

Wolves are in complete control at Ashton Gate but they don't seem to be getting much past Bristol City at the moment.

Fer Lopez carves himself a great chance, finding the space to unleash but he sends his strike awry by some margin.

Not a single shot from the hosts so far. We've heard this all before from a Wolves first half though and it's come back to bite them.

Two for Jack Moylan and two for Cardiff.

A long way back for West Ham.

Moylan sweeps his finish to the left as Mads Hermansen dives to the right.

They are eyeing a fourth straight home win.

  6. PENALTY TO CARDIFFpublished at 20:22 GMT

    Cardiff 1-0 West Ham

Morato brings down Jack Moylan in the box and Cardiff have the chance of a second.

Moylan was very cute, running onto a fine ball from Perry Ng into the right of the area and getting his body in the way of the defender as he raced to get back into position before hitting the deck.

The Nottingham Forest loanee is left with his hands on his hips as ed Duckworth points to the spot.

    Cardiff 1-0 West Ham

After City are played advantage Calum Scanlon digs out a cross from the left byline and it loops towards goal before being touched over his own bar by Mads Hermansen.

Alex Robertson whips the curling corner towards the near post where Will Fish meets it with a flashing header but it flies a yard over the crossbar.

    Wrexham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Just as it looked like Wrexham were looking dangerous, Callum Brittan is finding his way into the box and in a great position.

He doesn't take the shot well though and Wrexham keeper Anthony Patterson can block it.

Wrexham have grown into the game.

Boro have had more of the possession but they've become sloppy in the last five minutes and invited Wrexham on.

Their best spell of the game now.

  10. Thomason the orchestratorpublished at 20:20 GMT

    Wrexham 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Ian Mitchelmore
BBC Sport Wales at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham

Lewis O'Brien was inches away from prodding George Thomason's low drilled shot into the net at the back post, but Boro survive.

Thomason duly gees up the home crowd, and they respond.

This is so much better from Phil Parkinson's men following their Friday night horror show at Sheffield United.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:20 GMT

    Oxford United 0-0 Reading

First real chance for either side as Joel Pereira rushes off his line to dive at the feet of Aidomo Emakhu after he is threaded through by Siriki Dembele.

  12. Postpublished at 20:20 GMT

    Wrexham 0-0 Middlesbrough

Oof. Former Boro man Lewis O'Brien is inches away from poking home an opener for the hosts but it's just ahead of his feet.

O'Brien spent a season on loan to the visitors in the 2023-24 season but he could have really come back to haunt them then.

Wrexham starting to build some momentum now.

  13. Postpublished at 20:18 GMT

    Cardiff 1-0 West Ham

Morato almost pulls off the pass of the season, bending the ball from the left touchline past two defenders into the path of the onrushing Manor Solomon but it's just a tad too strong and Nathan Trott beats the Hammers man to the ball by a yard.

  14. Postpublished at 20:16 GMT

    Cardiff 1-0 West Ham

Max Kilman cuts a frustrated figure as he is penalised by ref Ed Duckworth after an aerial tussle with City forward Yousef Salech.

He's a tricky customer on the best of days, let alone when you're already on a yellow inside half an hour.

  15. Postpublished at 20:15 GMT

    Wrexham 0-0 Middlesbrough

There's a bit of needle as Neto Borges wins a free-kick in a nice little area in the Wrexham half.

It's looking a bit heated but no need for cards as they all calm down after the referee gets involved.

It's delivered well as Sebastian Berhalter finds the head of Adilson Malanda but it's into the keeper's gloves.

First shot on target. The forwards have been kept quiet so far, for both sides.

  16. Postpublished at 20:15 GMT

    Oxford United 0-0 Reading

In League One, Cameron Brannagan has fired off target for the hosts, who are rather lacking in ideas at present, picking up the ball from Mark Harris on the left and driving past a man before sending one of his trademark long-range blasts wide of the upright.

Jarrod Bowen has a pop from outside the box but the ball cannons off a defender and it's a routine save for Nathan Trott flopping down to his right.

    Wrexham 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison

    Boro haven't really threatened yet.

They need to be trying to get the ball wide to the likes of Conway and deliver balls into the box, get bodies int there and get on the end of things.

They've looked after the ball well but havent got a shot on target yet.
