Main road closed after crash near reservoir

Part of the major road in the Peak District has been closed following a crash.

Derbyshire Police said at about 16:50 BST on Sunday that the A628 Woodhead Pass was shut in both directions while emergency services responded to the crash.

It happened alongside Torside Reservoir, near Crowden, the force added.

In a statement on social media, police urged drivers to find alternatives to the route, which is a key link between Manchester and Sheffield.
