Tribute to 'childhood sweetheart' found dead in Windsor
Police handoutThe wife of a man who was found with fatal head injuries in Windsor has paid tribute to her "childhood sweetheart".
Mohammed Rasheed, 50, known as Ishan, was discovered in the Goswell Hill area of the town early on 10 September.
Shyama Rasheed said her husband was a "proud Sri Lankan" and father of three who had been living in Wembley, north-west London, for nine years.
Two men charged with his manslaughter will appear before magistrates in Slough on 12 December.
Mr Rasheed died in hospital two days after being discovered lying unconscious in a service road at about 02:00 BST.
Mrs Rasheed said her husband "always hade a smile on his face" and the impact of losing him had been "indescribable beyond words".
"I have been going to Windsor twice a week with the help of my friends to where Ishan took his last steps and his presence is strongly felt by everyone who visits there," she said.
"Our lives have changed forever. I miss Ishan every second of every minute of every day, and it leaves a deep, dark hole which burns inside me."
