'I've asked for the chance to change'

Former minister Mark McDonald, who quit over inappropriate behaviour, has defended his decision to stay on as an MSP.

Mr McDonald stood down earlier this month after admitting his conduct had caused a woman "considerable distress".

He told the BBC he had apologised and was seeking the chance to change.
