Fiona RennieA man has appeared in court charged with setting fire to an award-winning traditional folk group's van.
Stephen Campbell, 47, is alleged to have wilfully set fire to two vehicles on 6 September, including that belonging to folk band Hò-rò.
Prosecutors claim he caused damage to a transit van at Fairley Street and a car at Harrison Drive in Glasgow's south side.
He denies the charges and is due to stand trial next month.
He is also accused of forcing open a van on Harrison Drive and stealing a lanyard and work pass.
Hò-rò, a band of musicians from the Highlands and Islands, said it was "heartbroken" at the loss of "priceless" instruments and sound gear.
The group has been given the loan of instruments by other musicians.
In 2014, the group won the Danny Kyle Award at Glasgow's Celtic Connections and the One Step Further Award at the Western Isles' Hebridean Celtic Festival.
Earlier this year, Hò-rò played at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Hebridean Celtic festivals.
