Two bodies have been recovered from a lake in County Donegal following a search operation for a father and his son.

A second teenager, believed to have been from the same family, was rescued and taken to hospital.

An Irish Coast Guard rescue helicopter was deployed from County Sligo to assist with the operation.

Also taking part were Mulroy Coastguard and Sheephaven Sub-Aqua Unit.

It is understood that the two victims, a man in his 40s and a teenager, were not from Ireland.
