Syrian troops celebrate breaking Deir al-Zour siege
Syrian government forces have broken a siege of the eastern city of Deir al-Zour, where troops and civilians were surrounded for years by Islamic State militants.
State television broadcast pictures of what it said were troops and allied militiamen chanting in support of President Bashar al-Assad after relieving the Brigade 137 base.
